Fourth District Councilman Daryl Supernaw shared in his weekly newsletter the city's plans for major upgrades along Bellflower Blvd.
The upgrades to Los Altos Village’s main thoroughfare will begin in August 2025 and are expected to end in the Fall of 2025. At present, it does not appear that the extensive work will be done before the CSULB Fall Semester starts on August 25, 2025.
The project will include the addition of bike lanes, featuring some sections with raised concrete dividers for lane separation, as well as the removal of a traffic lane and parking spaces.

Am a bit concerned about the lane reduction from 3 to 2 lanes.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a good plan, wish they would widen the sidewalk on the west side and put the bike lanes up on the sidewalk level on both sides.
