New local restaurant star...

Los Altos resident becomes newest Long Beach restaurant star

Los Altos resident Matt Cadle and business partner Chris Krajacic joined together to open one of Long Beach's hottest new restaurants- Pier 76 Fish Grill.

Open just a few months, it is located in the historic Cooper Arms building on Ocean Blvd where downtown Long Beach meets the Long Beach Arts District - an area with many upscale restaurants.

Pier 76 shares the Ocean Ave facing retail space of the National Register of Historic Places building with another Long Beach restaurant staple Modica's Italian Deli. Understanding that when friends go out to lunch or dinner, they might be in the mood for different cuisine, the deli and Pier 76 (which are separated by a hallway) have developed a true symbiotic relationship by sharing their eating spaces with each other's customers.  Pier 76 offers both indoor and outdoor dinning. The restaurant's alfresco dinning is in the beautiful (and in the past underused ) Cooper Arms outside garden area.

Matt worked for Chris at Walt's Warf in Seal Beach when Chris was Executive Chief there. When Chris called Matt about opening up Pier 76, Matt jumped at the chance.

The concept for Pier 76 Fish Grill is fresh and healthy chef inspired seafood dishes at affordable prices.  The homemade blue cheese dressing and candied bacon are just a couple of the featured one-of-a-kind ingredients of the creative dishes.

In three months, Pier 76 has become a Yelp Super Star with over 120 reviews resulting in 4.5 (out of 5) Stars. (CLICK ON) : YELP

Matt and his wife Ashley live in the Los Altos Center Adjacent Neighborhood and look forward to their Los Altos neighbors visiting the new restaurant for a change of pace and  scenery- and great food at reasonable prices.
