Los Altos realtor Michele K packs Ecco's Pizza for Daryl Supernaw "meet and greet"

Los Altos realtor Michele "K" Kreinheder packed the Ecco's Pizza on this week for her "meet and greet" for the Daryl Supernaw for Fourth District City Council campaign. 

The meeting really had the trappings of a community meeting between a Councilman and the community as the residents peppered the well-versed Supernaw on topics ranging from coyotes to street repairs.

Michele "K" isn't the only realtor behind Supernaw.  Supernaw's wide-ranging endorsements include the California Association of Realtors and numerous business associations that are drawn to his stance on the proposed regressive utility taxes or local sales tax to balance the city budget.

The local Fourth District neighborhood groups the Los Altos Center Adjacent Neighborhoods (LACAN) and the East Artcraft Manor Communiy (EAMC)  both have also endorsed Supernaw ( Click on LACAN/EAMC)

Los Altos Mc Donalds first business fined by

Long Beach Water Department

The LB Post  is reporting that the Los Altos Center McDonalds at 2290 N. Bellflower Blvd. was cited and fined this week for violating the Long Beach Water Department water usage polices.  The report states that the Los Altos Center business is the first business cited in Long Beach under the water restrictions.

The citation and $800 fine was a result of the Long Beach Water Department's smart meter technology.

Endorse Daryl Supernaw for 4th Council District

The 4th District neighborhood groups East Artcraft Manor Community  (EAMC) and the Los Altos Center Adjacent Neighborhoods (LACAN) have announced  their  endorsement of  Daryl Supernaw for the 4th City Council District in the April 14th Special Election.

The East Artcraft Manor Community (EAMC)  and The Los Altos Adjacent Neighborhoods (LACAN)  endorse Daryl Supernaw for 4th District Councilman.

As a lifelong 4th District resident, Daryl Supernaw has an established 35-year record of working as a trusted, hands-on partner for neighborhoods all over the 4th District.

Daryl Supernaw has not only been there for us over the years, Daryl is a neighbor and community advocate who has given selflessly to better our whole community and neighborhoods.

For as long as anyone can remember Daryl Supernaw and his family have been partners and leaders in our community. 

Daryl Supernaw's lifetime of community work transcends political labels and party politics-his word is his bond. And so for us he is the only vote-worthy and truly authentic candidate to represent us on the City Council.

Regarding Austin-Uranga item re proposed Customs facility @ LGB: After lengthy Council discussion, multiple amendments and substitute motions, Council votes 4-3 (motion by Austin, slightly amended by Price) to direct City Mgr to WITHHOLD work on proposed Customs facility until 60 days after new 4th dist. Councilmember is seated, at which time Manager will come back to the Council for add'l direction on how to proceed re proposed Customs facility. Vote was: Yes: Price, Uranga, Austin, Richardson; No: Lowenthal, Mungo, Andrews.) Mungo and Lowenthal had sought to have staff continue its work, then use what she called staff's "data" to conduct public outreach meetings. Austin and Uranga pressed their original intent, which they said was to have a a Council driven process, in contrast to Mungo-Lowenthal substitute which was continuing a staff driven process. Austin repeatedly cited work done for past nearly two years by staff and noted it was done without Council direction. Multiple speakers opposed international flights. JetBlue rep argued in favor of minimizing any delays.
